Upcoming Projects to Fund

We aspire to transport individuals to their social service and health appointments. However, expanding to offer a transportation system is costly and does not allow us to expand enough to serve the increased number of impoverished citizens, some of whom cannot receive these services without our help.

We are finding more and more people displaced and suffering below the poverty line. Woman and their children sleeping on the cold and dangerous streets. Disabled veterans, the mentally ill, individuals suffering from addictions and persons who are one paycheck away from being homeless.

MISSION & HISTORY.

Our mission at Kera's Helping Hands is to help those in need to overcome darkness and poverty.This is done by helping them realize a brighter future through the building of stronger communities. Our target population is not limited to just the homeless and displaced, but many other demographics that need support. Over the years, we've have helped single mothers, people with disabilities, veterans, children, and the elderly. With more hands on deck, we can show potential funding agencies that this organization can build the capacity to serve more individuals and families.

CEO/Owner

Kera Drame

Kera was born in Milwaukee, Wi and worked as a nurses assistant for 10 years. She moved to Atlanta in 2016 and here is where she found her passion. She learned that helping other people is what makes her happy. In 2019 she started Kera's Helping Hands Inc.

The organization helps individuals overcome poverty. Kera is a server and there's nothing better than serving the community. Kera's Helping Hands has served 100s of people in the Atlanta area and the goal is to continue to a of service to a community near you.

Executive Director

Brittany Boyd

Brittany Boyd is the Executive Director of Kera's Helping Hands. She joined KHHs to help the metro atlanta area. She has always been passionate about helping others and providing support. When Kera offered her the opportunity to come on board, she was excited to join such an impactful organization. Brittany's goal is to do her part in over turning poverty in the Atlanta area. She comes from a single mother house hold with five siblings and has 5 kids herself. Brittany drove school buses for 10 years as well as was a caregiver. She is extremely passionate about helping people and she looks forward to providing an additional set of hands to the organization.

Coordinator

Maya Daniels

Maya Daniels is the Coordinator of Kera's Helping Hands. She was a school bus driver as well as her father's caretaker. She has 13 nieces and nephews which she adores and a Yorky. She is from East Atlanta and attended all inner city schools graduating from Maynard Jackson high school. She has an associates degree in MAA. Throughout Maya's upbringing, she has always cared for the youth and elderly not only in her family, but in her community as well. Which is why Kera's Helping Hands is the perfect place for Maya. It is her life long passion to be a part of such an impactful organization.
